Professional AKC Certified Training
Pedestrian Pooch is on a mission to help all animal moms and dads be the best care-givers they can be for their pets! We offer tailor made training lessons based on your pup's needs that can include everything from how to care for and train your new puppy, proper leash walking, dealing with rowdy dogs, or even teaching your dog how to play frisbee.
30-minute leash walk • 60-minute leash walk
Unlike the majority of other Los Angeles area dog walkers, Pedestrian Pooch walks a maximum of only 2 dogs at a time. We have learned that this approach is far safer and less stressful for your dog (despite the more tempting economics of group walking!). When walked with just one other buddy, your pet gets plenty of one-on-one love and attention. Based on the clients wishes, walks include: feeding, fresh water refill, handwritten note about the walk, a yummy treat.
Overnight pet-sitting
If you have to go out of town or need a weekend away and find that your dog just can't come with you, Pedestrian Pooch will come to your home and care for your pet while you are away following your instructions as to your pet's routine (including regular walks). We make sure pets are comfortable in their own home environment which lessens the amount of stress they feel being away from their moms and dads.
Non-Canine Pet Sitting
Pedestrian Pooch doesn't only cater to canine customers. We also provide services for our feline and reptilian friends who are watching their houses while their owners are out of town. Our visits run 20 to 30 minutes and include feeding, watering, litter box cleaning, and of course (pet willing) playtime!
Training

ADDITIONAL POLICY INFORMATION
- Clients are billed weekly.
- We currently accept cash and check for payment.
- Families with 2 dogs are billed at 50% of the base rate of services for the second dog.
- There is a $5 surcharge for same-day scheduled walks.
- Services canceled 2 hours prior to scheduled pick-up are not billed. Services canceled within 2 hours of scheduled pick-up are billed in full.
- There is a $15 premium for all scheduled services on holidays*.
*Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, Day After Christmas, New Years Eve Day, New Years Day.
