 About Us Pedestrian Pooch was founded by Sara Araoz. Sara’s love of all things four-legged began at an early age when she dreamed about having a dog. She dragged around her stuffed animal named “Frizzy” (see Photo Slide Show), doing everything from feeding him to taking him on walks. She has since tamed and adored every squishy faced, wet nosed, floppy and pointy eared wiggly pooch she's met.
Sara is a certified AKC Canine Good Citizenship trainer. Her balance between dominance, playful nature, structure and affection began with her first puppy, Polo, a lovable 130 pound Rottweiler. Since then she has cared for over three dozen dogs of every shape, size, background and breed. From Washington, DC to New York City and finally Los Angeles, Pedestrian Pooch has found its home in the sand and sun.
At Pedestrian Pooch, we understand that dogs are not just friends, they are members of your family. Your pet brings you joy, makes you laugh and sometimes is the only "person" in the world you can talk to. At Pedestrian Pooch, its always a dog’s world.
